The Annual Clicks BabyClub Showcase – What Stood Out

Yesterday I was able to attend the annual Clicks BabyClub Showcase and have a look at everything they have to offer, along with the new ranges coming out. With another baby on the way, this was actually heaven. Smelling all the baby products, holding tiny little shoes in my hands and looking at all the adorable outfits… I am honestly beside myself with excitement.

Clicks has always been my go-to for any toiletries or beauty related products. I am a sucker for racking up those Clicks Clubcard points and get such satisfaction when the person behind the till asks “you have R32 in Clubcard points, would you like to use them?“. Call me stingy, but every cent counts. Life is so expensive, and if it makes a difference to me – image the difference that R32 makes for someone who has nothing. That’s why I love the Clicks BabyClub even more. A loyalty programme like this can really help ease a little bit of the financial pressure that a new parent faces – especially if you use it right.

I specifically buy all my family’s toiletries at Clicks in order to accumulate my points and be able to save a large chunk of money a month or two down the line. I do this because I have done my research and shopped around when it comes to loyalty programmes – I want to make sure that I am getting the absolute best prices, the best value for money and the most rewards out of the loyalty programme I use. Clicks BabyClub specifically has a higher percentage of savings in cashback compared to other retail baby reward programmes. ClubCard members earn double points on selected baby products and clinic services every day, and don’t forget the additional 10% savings during promo periods and my favourite – the amazing 3 for 2 deals!

Throughout my 7-years of being a parent, we have had quite a few months where we were just scraping by until the next paycheck – and it was times like these that those Clicks points really helped see is through with nappies, formula etc.

Besides the savings, Clicks BabyClub has so many other benefits – such as a vaccination SMS reminder service, expert advice with live Q&A chatson Clicks BabyClub Facebook, online advice at and more.

Anyway, enough talk about money – it always seems to depress me even when it is positive.

I want to share with you the goodies I saw yesterday that stood out to me. There were some things that looked incredible, but when I sampled them they were awful so not going to share those. I am only going to share the goods that really peaked my interest or that I have tried and tested myself.

1. Tommee Tippee

Moms, this is where I seriously need your help. I have always used NUK when it came to baby bottles for my kids – and I have tried them all. That being said, both  Knox and Mikayla struggled terribly with winds, crampy tummies and colic. I have heard such rave reviews about Tommee Tippee, and I am seriously considering trying them out instead this time around. Can any of you give me advice based on your personal experience?

This Tommee Tippee Advanced anti-colic bottle s what stopped me in my tracks. The patented air vent sucks air through the wand to reduce air in your baby’s milk. It even has a heat sensor! There are a few reasons why I would like to switch to Tommee Tippee, but I would love to hear from YOU! Which baby bottle brand did you use and why? Also, the shape is so ADORABLE.

Retail Price: R249,99 – R279,99

2. Kiddylicious

Everyone at the event was raving about these mini coconut rolls. I have not tried them myself, but I am dying to get some for my fussy eaters. My kids seem to enjoy snacks and eat so much better when I make a little platter for them at lunchtime. These would be perfect to include as a treat. Also keen to try the strawberry and blueberry rice wafers and the baked mini banana coconut rolls!

Retail Price: R19,99 – R69,99

3. Oh So Heavenly

The smell of h So Heavenly’s baby products immediately takes me back to when Knox was born – I am obsessed with the brand. They are so budget friendly, contains no nasties and are completely cruelty-free. It is one of the few brands whose bubble bath does not make my daughter’s eczema break out and they are always launching wonderful new products and ranges. Their new product range is absolutely adorable and I was lucky enough to receive some samples.

I did not take any photo’s of their new Forest Friends range for some crazy reason, but I am more interested in the Baby Oils Of Africa Range and the Farm Fresh Range!

Retail: R19,99 – R59,99

4. Child’s Farm

Clicks now also stock the award-winning British kid and baby skincare brand, Child’s Farm. Their products are made from naturally derived ingredients and essential oils to produce a range of mild, kind and safe products for newborns, babies and children. They are on of the very few baby and child ranges to undergo clinical safety tests and controlled user trials so all our products are dermatologist and paediatrician approved as suitable for sensitive and also eczema-prone skin.

Retail Price: R69,99 – R86,79

5. Baby Clothes

The baby clothes on display were beyond adorable – and they are already available in store! I wish I knew if I was having a boy or girl – I am dying to get my hands on some of the outfits. The Clicks Summer baby range is honestly to die for, and it is so affordable! Here are a few my favourites…

6. Claire’s

This is where Mikayla and I lost our minds a little – most of these will only be in store from mid November. From unicorn backpacks and notebooks, to proncess hair accessories and Frozen brushes. Furry animal friends, new stackables – and my favourite… Pucker Pop Lipglosses with the most insane flavours!

Overall, I had a great time. There are so many more products, but this post will end up being way too long! I will review some of the items in the upcoming months, but for now this should give you a peek at what to look forward to.

My little guy is 2 months old. After spending 6weeks in the NICU, it is such a blessing to do even the simplest of things for him – so any baby products excite me. I love that Clicks is introducing all these new goodies – already have some great outfits bought from them. Especially looking forward to Child’s Farm that has had some great reviews.

O and Tommee Tippee is the ish. My guy battled with sucking and we tried EVERY bottle on the market. Tommee Tippee was the last one and he is drinking like a champ from it. Highly recommend it – and how cool that it indicates the temperature?

Tommee Tippee for the win! we have two little ones (youngest is 7 months) and they are amazing for colic! Have tried Medela, Nuk and Dr Browns but TT has been the best so far. Plus they are so cot effective in that you only need to replace the teets as baby grows and not the whole bottle. Win – Win.

I’m currently 23 weeks pregnant with my second – though have not done much (already a neglected second child?) Probably time to start sorting through clothes and making lists.

I absolutely LOVED Tommee Tippee for my first-born son! He was mixed-fed pretty much from birth and their Closer-to-Nature bottles made switching from breast to bottle a breeze. Definitely can’t wait to try their new anti-colic bottles for my next little boy – I’m currently 30 weeks pregnant. 🙂

Congratulations on your pregnancy! And thank you for the advice, I have had such trouble breastfeeding in the past and expressing breastmilk and bottlefeeding was often necessary – I struggled with the NUK bottles. You ladies have me sold on Tommee Tippee!
